Limited edition shopper.
Our new shopper is a circular project, made of resources that otherwise would become waste - workwear pants! It is an example of how we can upcycle materials to create beautiful new products.
Designed by roccamore and created together with Vraa dampvaskeri, S.E.P. Nord and SPOOR.
It all starts at Vraa dampvaskeri, a family business founded in 1916 and currently run by the family's third generation: Stina Rasmussen and her brothers. Their focus is to create durable textiles that can be washed and reused many times over, including workwear for various industries.
We worked closely with Stina, who is a Human Ecologist and very passionate about reusing textiles. For this shopper, she donated the discarded workwear from the danish workers in the meat industry. We loved her spirit so much, that we named our Stina boot after her!
CREATING JOBS
The textile material is then passed to Jeanne from S.E.P. - a creative workshop that invites people with limited resources to earn a living. Our shoppers are handcrafted here- with the original buttons from the trousers left on, for an authentic touch!
S.E.P. was founded by women, and creates safe jobs in dignified working conditions. This is how we see the future: taking existing resources and giving them a new life, as wonderful products that will last a long time.

Jeg nåede desværre ikke at få shopperen mens den blev givet som fødselsdagsgave til medlemmer af shoeloverclubben, men så måtte jeg jo bare selv købe den. Den er rummelig og af virkelig god kvalitet, og så synes jeg faktisk også, at den er flot af et indkøbsnet at være. Jeg bruger nettet som skoletaske på dage, hvor jeg ikke har få mange bøger med ❤️
Jeg fik tasken i gave og den er hurtigt blevet min ynglingsshopper: fine striber, kraftigt stof og praktisk lomme foran.
